An Evening Bike Ride in Black Rock
I jumped on my orange bike and cruised around Black Rock, Bridgeport. Here are some photos:
The only other people out were the 3 different guys walking dogs down different street. Down one street, a group of kids were standing on a street corner. After I passed I heard one of them bleeting like a lamb. It was funny.
Photo work and a free Latte
On Tuesday morning at 10:30, I’m heading to Greenwich, CT for an interview about a staff photographer position.
For now, I’m saving the details.
The timing here is pretty good considering my temporary employment with my current employer CoStar ends at the closing of the year. We’re already winding down now doing what seems to be busy work.
There is also the reporter job … I have to call on that. Editors generally have poor communication skills and need 224,394,720 phone calls and emails to answer whether they received a resume or voice mail. It takes an even greater effort to get an answer out of them.
Perhaps I should take the hint … often someone is hired from inside or the editor gives a nephew the job. They post the ads in a false attempt at honesty and to dispel myths of nepotism.

I’m not getting very excited over the interview on Tuesday, I’m sure they have several people to interview. My portfolio will be solid, I’ll have high-quality copies of my resume (and even writing) and I’ll do my best.
That’s all I can do.
